Weekly Recommendation

Welcome to Friday! You made it! This week’s recommendation is a mini-series on Netflix called The Spy. It follows an Israeli man in the 1960’s as he is recruited into Israeli intelligence and then sent abroad as a spy. With personal and professional struggles, his commitment to duty drives the story to unexpected places! The show has some explicit and violent scenes and would not be recommended for children, although it does provide a compelling look into the real-life struggle of a new Israeli nation in the aftermath of World War II. Easily binge-able, I highly recommend this compelling look at a true story.

Secondly, this Sunday we have a guest author who wrote a brief narrative of their story during COVID. I am very excited and honored to be able to share this with you all and found it thought provoking, heartbreaking and hopeful all at once! My hope is that you too will enjoy this type of narrative and that it will provide you a break from some of the more policy heavy topics covered here. Please, in order to truly due the author justice, I would ask that you share this newsletter with your friends and family and encourage them to subscribe! I want this story to reach as many people as possible, as this author truly deserves it. Word of mouth has and continues to be our best path towards growth and is deeply valued as it comes from our readers themselves!
